The painting process could have been done in 20 minutes - but with the ridiculous “performances” squeezed in between the rows of tables and excessive banter by the hostess, it took 3 hours. There’s no actual karaoke machine and despite multiple televisions around the room, no lyrics broadcasting so that the crowd can join in with the performer - like ALL OTHER ACTUAL karaoke rooms. The “karaoke” is nothing more than someone pulling up karaoke versions of songs on YouTube on an iPad. The staff tried very hard to liven up the room, but it was ultimately very cheesy. Recently attended Canvas & Grapes for a bachelorette party. It was definitely not intimidating! I had an AWESOME time! Whether it's a birthday party, bachelorette or group of friends getting together Canvas and Grapes will not let you down! The best part is that anyone can get up and dance.
Juan Carlos does a great job moving this along with the karaoke to ensure everyone has an opportunity to sing their choice song. Throughout the 3hr event there is singing and dancing put on by Luis and staff which is just so entertaining. Cristina, Bomi, Juan Carlos and Doug were awesome! Cristina provides great instructions on the painting and Doug and Bomi are just great providing further assistance with your painting. Aside from this the owner, Luis and his staff. That said, the staff does do their best to remind everyone the food is brought in by different groups and suggests anyone that did not bring in food to order it from the neighboring pizzeria and have it delivered. However, you may find others outside your group helping themselves to your food. The venue can accommodate approximately 50 and you can bring your own food and drinks which, includes wine. It was just great! The venue is small located and reasonably priced.
We were an intimate group of family and friends at Canvas and Grapes having a bachelorette party.
